Reiki - I received my Reiki level one certification and attunements under Reiki Master Teacher Kathleen Reynolds in Mystic, CT, and my level two, three (advanced), and Master Teacher certifications and attunements under a second Reiki Master Teacher in New London, CT.
Herbalism - I attended the Global College of Natural Medicine's Medical Herbalism program and graduated as a Certified Master Herbalist. My courses included but were not limited to Anatomy and Physiology, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Herbal Pharmacology, Herbal Traditions, Growing and Wildcrafting, Herbal Preparations, and a class on the legalities for naturopathic practitioners.
Natural Health Consulting - I received my Diploma in Natural Health Consulting from the New Eden School of Natural Health and Herbal Studies. This allows me to incorporate education and instruction on the topics of lifestyle, exercise, and nutrition into my practice, and work one-on-one with people to help them clarify and then reach their natural health and wellness goals. My courses included, but were not limited to: Anatomy and Physiology, Natural Health and Nutrition, Natural Health Approaches, Chemistry and Nutrition, Iridology, Aromatherapy, DSM-IV, Energy Medicine, pH Balance for Optimal Wellness, Wellness Counseling Practices, and Business and Practice matters.
Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy - After receiving early acceptance at multiple universities, I decided to pursue my doctorate at the New Eden School where I had graduated with my CNHC. I am currently enrolled in doctorate studies in the field of Traditional Naturopathy (natural medicine), which will, upon completion of educational hours, clinical hours, dissertation, and all examinations, grant me the title of N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor).
In addition to my own practice, I also work for the Center for Hospice Care in Norwich, CT as a Complementary Reiki Therapist. I visit hospice patients and their families to provide Reiki to help relieve pain, depression and anxiety, aid in relaxation, and to help ease the transition, for the patient and their family, from this life to the next.
